Alfred Pratt

Alfred Pratt, 93, of Sand Lake, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday morning, January 3, 2010.  He was a graduate of Moody Bible Institute and a missionary with Continental Baptist Missions for 60 years.  Alfred moved from Michigan to Chattanooga, TN in 2001 and was an elder at Kelly’s Ferry Community Church.  Rev. Pratt is survived by his children, Sandra (Ken) Marske of Spooner, WI, Sharon (Tim) Davidson of Baraboo, WI, John (Jill) Pratt of Chattanooga, TN and Minnie Wood of Fond Du Lac, WI; 12 grandchildren, and 26 great-grandchildren; his brothers, Milford (Nadine) Pratt of Howard City, MI, and George Pratt of Wyoming, MI; sister-in-law, Gerry Pratt of Ensley Center.  He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, JaNeta (Butler) Pratt; his grandchildren, David Marske and Ginger Wood; his son-in-law, Greg Wood; his parents, Willard and Alice Pratt; his siblings, Edna (Wright), Warren, and Elinor (Lillibridge).  The celebration of Rev. Pratt’s homegoing will take place Friday, January 8, 2010 at Ensley Center Baptist Church, 7077 120th  Sand Lake, Michigan, beginning at 9 a.m. for visitation followed by the funeral service at 11 a.m. with his son, Pastor John Pratt,  Pastor James Ankerberg and Pastor Jacob Pratt officiating. .  Internment will be at the N. Ensley Cemetery.  Those desiring to express sympathy through a memorial are asked to consider Continental Baptist Missions.
