The West Michigan Bluegrass Music Association is presenting a Bluegrass Hot Bands Extravaganza on Saturday, November 21, 2009 at the Kent Theatre, 8 N. Main St., Cedar Springs. This will be the last Hot Bands event in the Cedar Springs area for this year.

This event will kick things off with the first of two Bluegrass bands taking the stage at 7:15 p.m. At the conclusion of the stage show everyone is encouraged to join multiple jam sessions that will last for the rest of the evening. Bring your instrument to join in or just sit back and listen. Refreshments will be available for purchase. All of this music in a non-smoking environment is available to the public for only $5 per person.

The two bands that will perform on stage are Luke Lenhart Family & Friends and The Rouge River Grass Bluegrass Band. You don’t want to miss either of these high powered bluegrass bands.

This fundraising event is presented by the West Michigan Bluegrass Music Association which is a non-profit organization formed to preserve and promote bluegrass music in west Michigan, in conjunction with the Cedar Springs Theatre Association.
