Improving weather had the Girls track team competing three times last week. The team split a pair of OK Bronze dual meets. The Lady Red Hawks lost a close meet to Greenville 75 to 62, at home, on Tuesday April 22, and they traveled to Northview and defeated the Wildcats 100 to 36. The team’s dual meet record is now 2 and 1 in the OK Bronze.
On Saturday, April 26, the team traveled to Remus Chippewa Hills, for the eight team Warrior Invite. The team scored 118 points and earned the second place trophy. The host Warriors won the meet. Senior Aly Hamilton won the 100-meter dash, while Junior Kenzie Weiler won the 3200-meter run. Junior Marissa Oakes placed second in long jump and Weiler also took second in the 1600-meter run.
