It’s back—get out those cameras!
It’s that time of year again when anglers big and small like to tell their fish tales! Send us a photo and story of your first, best, funniest, biggest, or even your smallest catch. Include your name, age, address, and phone number, along with the type and size of fish, and where caught. We can’t wait to hear from you! Photos published as space allows. Kaden Rydz Plite, son of Alisha Rydz and Derrick Plite, caught his first fish last week while fishing with this grandpa, Tony Rydz. They were fishing in the backyard pond in Pierson, MI. Early start for Kaden he is only 3 years old.

Anthony “Tony” Rydz 68 of Pierson, died Friday, February 8, 2013 at his home. Tony was born February 27, 1944 in Detroit, MI the son of Anthony and Marion (Kroll) Rydz. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during Vietnam. He enjoyed woodworking and hunting and loved his family. Surviving are his wife, Helga; children, Anthony “Tony” (Kelly) Rydz, Heidi (Tim) Adamczak; 6 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; sister, Rosemary (Ron) Snyder. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Karla Taylor; special friend, Doris Mader. The family received friends Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs. Service was held Tuesday 11:00 am at the Church of the Full Gospel, Sand Lake, Pastors Verta and Gary Giddings officiating. Interment Pierson Cemetery. Arrangements by Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs.
