
A man from Greenville was critically injured Wednesday in a crash in Oakfield Township.
According to the Kent County Sheriff’s Office, the crash occurred Wednesday, June 29, about 6 p.m., at the intersection of Lincoln Lake Ave and Old 14 Mile Rd. Police said that a Jeep stopped at Old 14 Mile Rd and Lincoln Lake Ave pulled out in front of a southbound motorcycle. The motorcycle was able to avoid the Jeep, but then lost control and crashed.
The motorcycle was being driven by a 65-year-old man from Greenville, who was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. He is in critical condition at an area hospital.
The crash is still under investigation.
