The Post recently traveled to Ireland with the Bolinger family, of Solon Township. Steve and Tammy and their daughter Juliana, 14, recently returned from a two-week trip to both the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. While in Ireland they explored numerous castles, kissed the Blarney Stone, explored Ireland’s Wild Atlantic Coast, crossed a suspended rope bridge, saw where parts of Star Wars were filmed and much more. In the photo above, Juliana is shown holding the Post in front of Cahir Castle.
Thank you, Bolinger family, for taking us with you!
Are you going on vacation? Be sure to take along a printed edition of the Post and get someone to snap a photo of you or your family with it. Send it to us along with some info about your trip (where you went, who went along, what you saw) and send the photo and info to news@cedarspringspost.com. We will print as space allows.

Rachel (Reed) Hunt and her husband Josh recently traveled across the Republic of Ireland and took the Post with them on their adventure in the Emerald Isle. The couple flew into Dublin, and traveled cross country to visit many historic sites, including the ruins of medieval castles, the Cliffs of Moher, and they even kissed the Blarney Stone! (Which is no small feat since you have to do it upside down.) Rachel said driving on their narrow roads without shoulders was one of the hardest things to get used to. And it was especially tricky driving through the Gap of Dunloe, a narrow winding mountain pass, with only room enough for one vehicle on the road. But the two had a great time, and we thank you for taking us with you to Ireland!
If readers are going on vacation, take a copy of the Post with you, snap a photo, and send it to us with some brief information to news@cedarspringspost.com.

Jeanette Denton, from Baptist Lake, and her sisters, Janeice Inman, of Coral and Carolyn Schrauben, of Portland, spent 15 days touring all around Ireland, and Jeanette took the Post along to get a great photo for us! Jeanette said that they were interested in the country because their great-grandfather arrived in Coral from Ireland. The three sisters are three of eight children born to Tom and Audrey Coady.
“We are all ready to go back,” said Jeanette. “It was so green and beautiful. A wonderful trip! We had a lot of fun.”
