Catch of the Week

OUT-Catch-of-week-FitzgeraldWhen Bob Fitzgerald reeled in this beauty last weekend at Sand Lake, he was in for a big surprise. The fish was a sunfish that weighed in at 14-1/2 ounces and was 10 inches long.

“It was the biggest sunfish I have ever seen, let alone caught,” said the Sand Lake resident. “It was lots of fun to catch. This fish fought more than some small bass I’ve caught.”

Congratulations, Bob, on a great catch!

Catch of the Week!

Ashlynn Davis, 4, of Cedar Springs, caught this bluegill while fishing with her dad, in a creek near Lincoln Lake, in Spencer Township. And what special gear brought in this fabulous fish? A Dora the Explorer fishing pole, of course! This is the second fish that Ashlynn has caught, with the first one being caught in Texas.
Way to go, Ashlynn! You made the Post Catch of the Week!
