Mayfest bluegrass music festival


Join us for the 16th annual W.M.B.M.A. Mayfest Bluegrass Festival May 20-22 at the Kent County Fairgrounds in Lowell, Michigan.
This year we’ve got another great line-up of regional and local bands, featuring the great bluegrass band, Danny Paisley And The Southern Grass.
On Friday night, May 20, White River Pickers, Blue Water Ramblers, Uncle Betty and the Bluegrass Echoes perform from 6-10 p.m. Admission is $10.
Saturday from noon to 10 p.m. it’s Danny Paisley at 4 and 8:35 p.m., plus the Doodad, the Olson Brothers, Family Traditions and the Mona Shores Fiddlers. Price is only $17.
Sunday at 10 a.m. hear the gospel sounds of the Bluegrass Echoes along with audition bands and a change to win $100. Sunday admission is $5.
Save money and come for the whole weekend for $20 advance ticket or $25 at the gate. For advance tickets, send check payable to WMBMA and a self-addressed stamped envoelope o Norma Noall, 12530 Heim, Lowell, MI 49331. Children 15 and under admitted free with parent admission. Campsites are available.
It’s bluegrass rain or shine inside our concert building, so bring a chair.

Bluegrass Music Festival


Join us for the Fallfest Bluegrass Music Festival September 17 through 19, 2010 at the Kent County Youth Fairgrounds, Lowell MI.

We have two great headliners this year. They are Rick Prater and The Midnight Travelers and The Williams Family. Bluegrass doesn’t get any better than these two great bands. Be sure to bring lawnchairs/blankets for the concert under our all weathre canopy. It’s Bluegrass music, come rain or shine.

Friday night the Thunder Floor Cloggers, The Williams Family, Cedar Ridge and Jonas Ridge, will entertain you from 6:00-10:00 pm. Friday admission is just $10.00.

Saturday it’s great music from noon until 10:00 pm. Rick Prater and The Midnight Travelers perform at 4:00 pm and 8:35 pm. In addition, there will be The Thunder Floor Cloggers, Deadwood, Bobby Hutch and Grand Ole Country and Free Wheelin’. Saturday’s price is only $15.00 for the entire day’s events.

Sunday at 10:00 am enjoy the gospel sounds of The Williams Family along with our audition bands and a chance to win $100. Sunday admission is $5.00. Save money and come for the whole weekend for $20.00 advance ticket or $25.00 at the gate. Mayfest Bluegrass Music Festival


Bluegrass music is American music, pure, honest and beutiful in it’s simplicity. Come celebrate and enjoy this most American music at Mayfest 2010. Join us on May 14-16, 2010 at the Kent County Youth Fairgrounds in Lowell, Michigan for a music festival that the whole family can enjoy. We will have instrument workships, a huge barn and bake sale, craft and food vendors, and lots of campsite jammin’. And then there are our Bluegrass music stage acts all weekend long.

Our headliner this year is The Chapmans Bluegrass Band. Bluegrass doesn’t get any better than The Chapmans Band. You have got to be sure to hear this phenomenal straight ahead Bluegrass group. Be sure to bring lawnchairs/blankets for the concert under our all weather canopy. It’s Bluegrass music, come rain or shine.

Fallfest Bluegrass Music Festival

It came out of the mountains of Appalachia from a rich musical heritage of Scotch/Irish immigrants and was passed down from generation to generation. Come celebrate and enjoy this most American music at Fallfest 2009. Join us on September 18-20, 2009 at the Kent County Youth Fairgrounds in Lowell, Michigan for a music festival that the whole family can enjoy. We will have instrument workshops, a huge bake sale, craft and food vendors, and lots of campsite jammin’. And then there are our Bluegrass music stage acts all weekend long.
