AGNES C. LUDTKE SKORKA


Agnes C. Ludtke Skorka age 101 of Pierson died Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at Lakeview Terrace Assisted Living in Lakeview, MI. Agnes was born May 11, 1919 in Trufant, MI the daughter of Carl and Belva (White) Nielsen. She made all her children and grandchildren feel like they were her favorite. Agnes had a love for Pepsi and made homemade bread for her family and canned endless amounts of vegetables from her farm. She loved her family dearly and they will deeply miss her. Surviving are her children, Barbara (Fred) Stewart, Carole Cota, Louise (Geoff) Lynch, Ted (Joan) Ludtke, William (Cindy) Ludtke, Joanne (Mike) Persons, Edward (Julie) Ludtke, Mark (Rosie) Ludtke, Chris (Shelly) Ludtke, Patty (Rick) Bergman, Bryan (Bridgett) Ludtke; 43 grandchildren; 55 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; siblings, Belva Stout, Margaret Krebs, Richard (Jean) Nielsen; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by husbands, Harold Ludtke and Frank Skorka; sons-in-law, Michael Stewart, Jerry Cota; grandchildren, Julie Mankoski, Gregory Cota; great grandchildren, Blayze Ludtke, Deven Gould; siblings, Lloyd, Ken, Frieda, Carl, Alger. The family greeted friends Sunday, September 20 at Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs. A Mass of Christian Burial was held Monday, September 21 at Mary Queen of Apostles, Rev. Fr. Lam Le, Celebrant. Interment St. Mary’s Cemetery, Sand Lake. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Mary Queen of Apostles, 1 W. Maple St., Sand Lake.
