Free Food and Free Movie

Aug. 28: On Friday, August 28th at 6 pm, Rockford Springs Community Church, 5815 – 14 Mile Rd., NE, Rockford will have free food for those in need. Public is welcome. A free movie will be shown at 4 pm and 6 pm. Free popcorn! Music! Fellowship!. #34

Michigan Blood Drive

Aug. 31: Michigan Blood will be conducting a blood drive on Monday, August 31st at the high school cafeteria from 2 to 7 pm. New donators are welcome. Preregister at www.miblood.org and use the code CSHS to schedule a time so there is no waiting. Everyone is welcome to come and donate. #34

TOPS weight loss support group

Sept. 1: Take off pounds sensibly (TOPS), a non-profit weight loss support group for men and women, meets every Tuesday at the Resurrection Lutheran Church in Sand Lake. Red Flannel Day Talent Show Tryouts

Sept. 2,9,16,24: Looking for talented kids of all ages. The Red Flannel Talent Show is searching for singers, vocal groups, dancers, instrumentalists and variety acts for the Red Flannel Day Talent Show on October 3rd. Come in and show us what you got. Registration for Prince & Princess

Sept. 12: Attention parents of Kindergarten children! Any child in the Cedar Springs School District (at any school or homeschooled) can register for the Red Flannel Prince and Princess contest!
