Rummage Sale

Oct. 16-18: The Sand Lake United Methodist Church, 65 Maple St., is hosting a Rummage Sale on Thursday and Friday, October 16 and 17, from 9 am to 5 pm and October 18, from 9 am to 12 noon. #42

 

Garage Sale for CSHS Wrestlers

Oct. 16-18: A garage sale for the Cedar Springs High School Wrestlers will be held on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, October 16, 17 & 18 from 9 am to ?, at 4266 Ives Farm Lane, Cedar Springs, off White Creek Ave., north of Russell Rd. Furniture, household, clothes. All proceeds to support the CSHS Wrestlers upcoming trip to State. #42

 

Craft and Home Business Sale

Oct. 18: St. Peter’s Lutheran Ladies Guild is sponsoring their Craft and Home Business Sale on Saturday, October 18th. Stop in at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, 310 East Division St., Rockford between 9 am and 3 pm. Public is welcome. Free Admission. #42

 

Hayrides at Pioneer Church.

Oct. 18: Join us for hayrides, hotdogs and cider this Saturday starting at 6 pm at Pioneer Church. A wagon will travel along our 1 mile path located at the corner of Algoma and 17 Mile Rd. Dinner at the Legion

Oct. 20: American Legion, 80 Main St. Cedar Springs, is hosting a Pork Chop dinner on Monday, October 20th, from 5 – 7 pm. Included will be mashed potatoes and gravy, stuffing, veggies, salad, rolls, dessert and drinks. The cost is $9 for adults, children (12 and younger) $4.00. Come and enjoy home cooking. Spectacular Pumpkins and Gourds

Oct. 22: The Greenville Garden Club presents: Spectacular Pumpkins and Gourds on Wednesday, October 22 at 7 pm. The feature speaker is Julie Glover, a member of the Michigan Gourd Society and the Gourd Society of America. She will share techniques for carving, painting and preparing gourds. Public is welcome. MCC’s Haunted Indoor Forest

Oct. 24,25: Montcalm Community College’s Art Club hosts it Haunted Indoor Forest from 6 to 8 pm on October 24 and 25 in the Instruction North Building on the college’s Sidney campus. A $2 donation is suggested for admission. #42

Pumpkin Walk and Carving

Oct. 25: Pumpkin carving and trail walk at Howard Christensen Nature Center. $8 per person (includes one pumpkin). The evening begins at 5 pm at the Red Pine Center with pumpkin carving and pumpkin carving contest. Prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. After carving and judging, the pumpkins will be lit and laid out along a trail where a pumpkin lit trail walk will take place. Exotic Pet Bird Fair and Expo

Oct. 25: The Great Lakes Avicultural Society’s 38th Annual Exotic Pet Bird Fair and Expo will take place on Saturday, October 25 from 10 am to 4 pm at the 28th Street Showplace, 1256 28th St. SW Wyoming, Michigan. This is the largest bird fair in west Michigan and features birds for sale, toys, cages, food and other supplies. There will also be raffles, a bake sale, and educational displays about companion birds and their proper care. NO birds may be brought in by the general public.
