Humane Society of West Michigan’s PETS OF THE WEEK:
Poe – Male American Pit Bull Terrier
I’m a sweet 4 year old dog who would do well in a home with another polite and playful dog and older children. I was transferred from another shelter making much of my history a mystery. I am deaf and my adopters should consider this and be prepared to learn to communicate with me non-verbally. Please come meet me at Humane Society of West Michigan!
Captain Jack – Male Domestic Short Hair
I’m a sweet and social 1 year old cat! I readily approach people who come to visit me and love to be pet. I had to have one of my eyes removed, but I get around just fine! I enjoy stretching out, relaxing, and napping. Adult cats (5 months and older) have their adoption fees waived right now at Humane Society of West Michigan.
Humane Society of West Michigan is open Tuesday-Friday 12-7, Saturday & Sunday 11-4.
For more information on the Humane Society of West Michigan, call (616) 453-8900 or visit them at 3077 Wilson NW, just ½ mile north of Three Mile Road during adoption hours or visit www.hswestmi.org
