The POST is giving local anglers a chance to prove that they aren’t telling fish tales about what they’ve been reelin’ in by giving a place to show off their Catch of the Week.

Simply send us a photo of the fish and the lucky angler who caught it, along with a short fish tale, and you could be featured in our Catch of the Week. Big fish, little fish, whatever size fish – we want to see them all. Email news@cedarspringspost.com or send to ‘Catch of the Week’ P.O. Box 370, Cedar Springs, MI 49319.

Catch of the Week

Sally Johnson sent us this adorable photo of her three-year-old granddaughter, Isabella. Isabella, the daughter of Christina Trumble and Rober Kernan, both of Cedar Springs, recently went fishing with her dad, and caught her very first fish!

“Isabella was so excited to catch the fish,” said Sally. “But she did throw it back because it was too little.” Sally said Isabella just loves to fish. “I taught her how to cast, now I have to teach her not to cast in the house! She has a rubber fish on her little Frozen fishing pole and she plays with the kitties with it.”

Congratulations, Isabella, your fish is our Catch of the Week!
