Thank You!

It is with sincere gratitude that we extend this note of thanks to those who supported us at the time of Jim’s death. Thanks to friends and family who visited both at hospice and the funeral home, those who send cards and flowres, those who brought food, and those who put your arms around us in so many ways. A special thanks goes to Pastor Robert Eckert and the ladies of Courtland-Oakfield United Methodist Church, and the staff at Trillium Woods Hopsice who were so kind. Thanks also to Dave Pederson and the staff at Pederson Funeral Home who went above and beyond the call of duty.

May God bless you all.

Thank You!!

I want to “Thank you” for the kind concerns and help from my family and close friends during my recent stay at Metron of Cedar Springs after my hip replacement surgery. Also a special thanks to Pastor Mary from CSUMC for her visit and Love’n Stitches for the beautiful hand made Prayer Shawl. Our town is so blessed to have such a facility as Metron. I thank the entire staff for the wonderful care and physical therapy I received.

Thanks so much to all,

Thank You

Thanks to the good Lord, all of us (including the dog) got out of the house unharmed from our house fire on Christmas Day. We would like to say Thanks to our family, friends, neighbors and most important the “Dog.” Your offers of help, your cards of encouragement, your acts of kindness, the good advice we were given when our minds were numb, the gifts of money, warm clothes & hot coffee. Cell phones were used and given, instruction to make and take calls, small note pads for notes and numbers. Warm houses to go to, your vehicles to drive and your help removing things that were left. For all these things we are very thankful, and we are very blessed for the wonderful support from all of you. And to all the firefighters, you went above the beyond to fight this fire and help save what we could. We Thank You.

Thanks for caring and sharing,

Don & JoAnn VandenBerg
