Thank You

To the Cedar Springs Community :

On April 26, 2014 our family home suffered a fire. We were very lucky, all of our family members (pets included) got out safely. We’d like to express heartfelt gratitude to the firemen and policemen who responded to our call, especially for getting it out quickly to avoid greater damage. We’d also like to give a big thank you to all the members of our community who have reached out in any way to our family during this time of crisis.

And a special thank you to Marsha Stephens, who’s generous gift came at a time we desperately needed it. Thank you and God bless.

Sincerely,

Belinda & Mike Sanderson, Autumn Schovey, Alixan Spaulding, Alanna Miller, and Nate & Mac Minnema

Thank You

On behalf of our daughter Kimberly Fisk, we would like to thank the Cedar Spring Community for all their generosity given to her when her home burned down Dec. 4th, 2013. Thanks to the White Pine Family Medical Center and the Cedar Springs School district and so many others within the community, our daughter, her boy friend Mike Ingersoll, and her daughters Kendell and Lonnitta had a awesome Christmas. Now family and friends have pulled together to put on a benefit for their family. The benefit is to help them rebuild. (There was no insurance.) It will be held Feb. 22, 2014 at the VFW Hall in Sand Lake, MI starting @ 3 pm. Once again the Cedar Spring community has been ever so generous, we have received many donations for the benefit from several local companies thus far and others are anticipated. It has been very heart warming on how generous everyone has been. We will never be able to thank everyone enough for their help.

From the bottom of our hearts Thank You and God Bless: Ken & Lonnitta Fisk

Thank You Neighbor!

Thank you to my neighbor.  You know who you are!

It was a wonderful surprise and greatly appreciated to arrive home and find my driveway had been plowed! I can finally pull my car into it again!

Thank you so much for being a great neighbor,

Lois Allen, Cedar Springs

Thank you

A great big thank you to everyone that came to the special City Council meeting last Monday night. I was overwhelmed by your support. And now, as we move forward, only time will tell how transparently my fellow council members, including myself, will be in taking our city to a whole new level.

Councilman Bob Truesdale

Thank You

We buttoned down the hatches for this year of Red Flannels.

First of all I want to say thanks to the Festival Committee for choosing me this year. I was enlightened as to just how much work is done by all of you special people. The many man hours that goes into making this successful is enormous, but you did it. I think that this year’s crowds outdid themselves, wall to wall people everywhere! Wonderful! God’s blessings were upon us that warm beautiful day.

A sleek black convertible to ride in was by Ed Koehn and again thanks for the pleasure.

All the community businesses did extend to all those that came a warm welcome and they will return again. As this is the Red Flannel Town as it was when The Clipper Gals started in the 1930s and it will be forever known as that! We need all of your help to get our Red Flannels back on our street signs for all the world to see, because you people are that Red Flannel Town and we need to restore that again. I know you will put those here to support it.

I want to thank my American Legion Family also for their support of me and the Festival. May we all come together with love and prayers. Also thanks to my great family for all their help!
