Thank you

Ensley Crime Watch Board and Members want to say “Thank you” to all the contributors and people that attended our Annual Race and Picnic July 28th at Baptist Lake. We had a very successful event and a good time was had by all. We could not have asked for better weather. The Newaygo Sheriff was well represented by the K9 Patrol, Marine Patrol and the Fire Department had several pieces of equipment for everyone’s review. Of course the children enjoyed this along with playing in the bounce house. Due to the volunteers and everyone else we are able to turn over $3,400 to the Sand Lake/ Ensley Township fire department to buy necessary equipment.

Thank you!

Thank you from the publisher

I would like to express my thanks and appreciation to Lyle Perry as well as to Marge Clark for the cards they sent to me which held messages of congratulations on our 30 year anniversary. They were very special to me. Both held wonderful and heartfelt messages. They touched my heart. And, it’s always nice to get a real card!

Thank you so very much.

Thank You

We would like to thank everyone who has been so generous with their donations of food, money, clothing, household items and more since we lost everything in a fire on July 1. We would especially like to thank Courtland, Cedar Springs, Oakfield, Spencer, Sand Lake, and Algoma Fire Departments; Rockford Ambulance; The Springs Church, Cedar Springs United Methodist Church, and Courtland Oakfield United Methodist Church; our dear friends Duane and Tiffany; our neighbors Laura and Don DeLange; the Klco family; Cedar Café; B&B Beauty Salon; The Cedar Springs Post; and so many others who have helped us. We could not get through this without you! You’ve turned a tragic moment into a blessing from the Lord. Thank you all so much!

Thank you

Our heart and soul went into the house that was lost on Friday the 13th. But, it was made a little more bearable by the out pouring of support and effort made by our local brave men and women of our local fire departments. As the Supervisor of Nelson township I didn’t fully understand the sacrifice that these men and women make doing this job until 11:20 pm on Friday night. Knowing my house was going to be a complete loss – they did everything they could to save my neighbors and they did. And for this I’m beyond grateful.

Thank you – Sand Lake Fire Department, Cedar Springs Fire Department, Spencer Fire Department, Courtland Fire Department and Oakfield Fire Department.

Thank you

Thank the Lord for sending his angels of protection to watch over me when I was in a car accident on White Creek Avenue last Wednesday night, September, 6th.  It was a very scary thing to have someone’s headlights coming at me in my lane and swerving off the road to avoid hitting the oncoming car head on. I know I ended up in the ditch and totaled my car but it could have been a lot worse if I had hit the car head on. Too bad the driver of the other car never stopped, I don’t even know if they even were aware of what happened.

Thank you to the kind couple that stopped to help me after my accident. You were very kind and helpful and I appreciate it very much. Thank you to Rockford Ambulance for getting me to Spectrum Butterworth where I got checked over and nothing was broken, just bruised pretty good. I’m doing much better now.  Thank you to my husband, Michael Sanderson for coming to my aid so quickly and being by my side at the hospital. Thank you to all the doctors and nurses that helped take care of me.

With many thanks,

Belinda Sanderson
