Thank You

Rummaging deep into the bottomless abyss that is my purse, looking for my debit card holder after grabbing some essentials on my way home at the Dollar General store on Main Street last week, I realized it was not there. I had left it at work. I was tired, and now frustrated with myself for forgetting it. As people lined up behind me, I looked up at the clerk and was about to say, “Cancel my order please.”

But instead, she looked back at me and said, “It’s taken care of.”

“What are you talking about?” I questioned. “Someone in line paid it,” she said. Needless to say, I was stunned and thought I heard her wrong. “No way,” said I. She repeated it and so I glanced behind me at the long line of aggravated customers, accumulating behind me, waiting… But one women smiled at me and gave me a wink! Thank you! I will try and pay it forward.

BRIAN JOHNSON

The family of Brian Johnson would like to thank all of the family, friends and businesses for the continued love and support during Brian’s passing. We would also like to thank all who attended and helped organize Brian’s Celebration of Life service. We were overwhelmed by the hundreds of people that attended. Over the years, Brian touched so many lives in a special way. Seeing all of the lives that Brain has touched will forever warm our hearts. Many thanks for the lovely bereavement cards and words of comfort, donations, tears and hugs, amazing food and flowers, hugs and prayers, as well as comfort and strength during Brian’s passing. Brian can finally climb the stairway to heaven with all the love sent his way!

With Love,
