Thank You

I would like to thank everyone who came to say goodbye to Steve. We were truly awed at the number of people. Thank you again, it was quite a send off for Steve. Special thanks to Mark Strpko, Marty Fraser and the Cedar Springs Fire Department for the firetruck.

Thank You

Dear Community,

This summer has been especially hard on our DPW workers. While there are always the day to day operations, they have had to deal with a lot of extra work while being short-handed. They have also had to handle emergencies that most of us aren’t often aware of, without complaint.

The sidewalk construction project has demanded a lot of time from our Supervisor, Bill. The leaf vacuum broke down and the sidewalk project has run over into the fall making leaf pick-up even more difficult. Our DPW workers do a great job for us, they work hard every day so if you see them out and about give them a wave and a kind word to let them know you appreciate what they do for our community. Make someone’s day today!

Thank you

Thank you to all that attended the visitation and funeral of James Cole Jr. and Lisa Bradley. We were overwhelmed by so many people showing their love and concern to our family. Thank you Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home. Thank you to all who gave a gift of money, brought food (so delicious) to our home and to the funeral, to Mary, Diane, Wendy, Laurie and Dawn for all your help setting food up that day, the beautiful cards and words given to us, all the flowers, all your hugs and tears, prayers to comfort us, to all that helped and continue to help her on the farm, getting the crops off the fields, feeding the herd, stopping in to check on me. God is good! A big thank you to all the friends and businesses who helped, to Troy (pig roast) and Greg Fisk (bug spraying), also to Inge and Tommy for your beautiful words at the service and in my home. We continue to pray for goodness on this earth and separate us from hate. “God is Love”.

Thank you – God Bless You

Thank you

Ensley Crime Watch Board and Members want to say “Thank you” to all the contributors and people that attended our Annual Race and Picnic July 28th at Baptist Lake. We had a very successful event and a good time was had by all. We could not have asked for better weather. The Newaygo Sheriff was well represented by the K9 Patrol, Marine Patrol and the Fire Department had several pieces of equipment for everyone’s review. Of course the children enjoyed this along with playing in the bounce house. Due to the volunteers and everyone else we are able to turn over $3,400 to the Sand Lake/ Ensley Township fire department to buy necessary equipment.

Thank you!

Thank you from the publisher

I would like to express my thanks and appreciation to Lyle Perry as well as to Marge Clark for the cards they sent to me which held messages of congratulations on our 30 year anniversary. They were very special to me. Both held wonderful and heartfelt messages. They touched my heart. And, it’s always nice to get a real card!

Thank you so very much.

Thank You

We would like to thank everyone who has been so generous with their donations of food, money, clothing, household items and more since we lost everything in a fire on July 1. We would especially like to thank Courtland, Cedar Springs, Oakfield, Spencer, Sand Lake, and Algoma Fire Departments; Rockford Ambulance; The Springs Church, Cedar Springs United Methodist Church, and Courtland Oakfield United Methodist Church; our dear friends Duane and Tiffany; our neighbors Laura and Don DeLange; the Klco family; Cedar Café; B&B Beauty Salon; The Cedar Springs Post; and so many others who have helped us. We could not get through this without you! You’ve turned a tragic moment into a blessing from the Lord. Thank you all so much!
