Hugh Grannis

IN MEMORIAM
HUGH GRANNIS
December 10, 1914 – November 20, 1988

It’s been 23 years since you left us, but sometimes when we close our eyes:
we can still see you in your bibbed overalls in your garden, or fishing with Scott or smelt dipping or hunting in the UP,
or see you and mom dancing around the kitchen to Anne Murray’s “Can I Have This Dance,” or if we listen really hard,
we can hear you calling square dances or whistling “Red Wing,” or singing
“One Day at a Time, Sweet Jesus” with Katie or playing the harmonica as we sat around the fire at Round Lake.

We miss you
Wife Doris and children Sue, Sal,
Dan, Jon, Mary, Dena and families.

Timothy Brown

Oct. 7, 1982 – Nov. 4, 2005

The day you left us was heartbreak and sorrow.
The day you left us we saw no tomorrow.
The day you left us we didn’t understand.
The day you left us God had you by the hand.
The day you left us your family came together.
The day you left us we remember you forever.

Love, Mom and Dad

Timothy Brown

Oct. 7, 1982 – Nov. 4, 2005

The day you left this world
I lost my guiding hand.
With that, I lost all hope
And I truly could not cope.
Now I’m left eternally saddened.

I love and miss you with everything I have. Thank you Timmy, my brother, my hero, my friend.

Clair Middleton

who passed away 12 years ago, October 27, 1999

You did so many things for us
Your heart was kind and true,
And when we needed someone
We could always count on you.
The special years will not
Return when we were all together,
But with the love within our hearts
You will be with us forever.

Loved and sadly missed by your family

We all have learned life is not what it seems. Nothing in this world lasts forever. Mom, sometimes it seems like you’re gone on vacation, until we walk into the house and can still feel the brokeness and so many years of lost time, so we continue to hold on to the memories. We know now, here is only our temporary home and we are just passing through. Someday we will all be reunited in our permanent place holding hands with you. And that is when our half empty glass will be full again.

We love you.
We miss you.
Dad, kids & grandkids
