CARL GENE MAGOON

May 18, 1950 – January 10, 2009

My life without you is empty

I need you back so much

I wish you were here beside me

I long to feel your touch

Our time together was special

Our love was very strong

Why were you taken from me?

It all seems very wrong

Why must I go on without you?

I miss you more each day

You went away too quickly

The world is now so gray

I think about you always

But that is nothing new

When everyday I have left

has to be without you.

It’s been 5 years without you.

We miss you.

Your wife and kids

BLANCHE NAFFZIGER

In loving memory of our dear Mother, Grandmother,

Blanche Naffziger, who passed away

January 7, 1999, 15 years ago.

I’m proud to call you mother,

For you gave so much to me.

A tender heart, a loving smile,

Brought perfect harmony.

You never gave up loving me.

You took the time to share.

This simple, “I love you, Mother”

Will show how much I care.

Sadly missed by children and grandchildren

Roger Allen

We miss you Roger…

It’s been one whole year since I’ve seen your smile, heard your laugh, hugged you hard.

I have missed you every moment, of every day you have not been here. Sometimes, I pretend you’re still around. I pretend that you’re sitting at home busy doing next week’s column or visiting around town being a funny guy.

I miss you when I’m down and need to be cheered up. I miss you when I’m happy and want to share. I miss you in every way of every day ‘till the day I die, and can hug you once more.

your daughter, Lois

Richard M. Reed Sr.

In loving memory

Richard M. Reed

October 9, 1933-January 4, 2004

C-Memorial-ReedWhat makes a Dad?

God took the strength of a mountain,

The majesty of a tree,

The warmth of a summer sun,

The calm of a quiet sea.

The generous soul of nature,

The comforting arm of night,

The wisdom of the ages,

The power of the eagle’s flight.

The joy of a morning in spring,

The faith of a mustard seed,

The patience of eternity,

The depth of a family need.

God combined these qualities,

And there was nothing more to add,

He knew His masterpiece was complete,

And so He called it DAD!

It’s been 10 years, but we still miss you and think of you everyday.

Love, your family

Never was there a man loved as much as this man;

Never was there a better dad than this dad;

Never was there a more appreciative daughter than this one!

Missing you at Christmas

Everyday without you,

Since you had to go,

Is like summer without sunshine,

and winter without snow.

I wish that I could talk to you.

There’s so much I would say.

Life has changed so very much,

Since you went away.

I miss the bond between us,

And I miss your kind support,

You’re in my mind and in my heart,

And every Christmas thought.

I’ll always feel you close to me,

and though you’re far from sight,

I’ll search for you among the stars

that shine on Christmas night.

I love and miss you dearly,

Your daughter,Tammy

BRIAN SHEARS

C-MEM-Shears-webNovember 3, 1956 – December 15, 2011

We all know how much he loved TV

We all know how much he loved the kitchen

Two years ago he turned the TV off

Two years ago was his final trip to the kitchen

After the funeral I think that’s when it really kicked in

We all said our last goodbyes

Hoping we wouldn’t have to do that for many years

Dying at a young age of 55

I will never forget my dad

He did what he loved

He built houses, and hunting and fishing on the side

He worked until he couldn’t

We miss how he would sing in his sleep

How he always sang going to the kitchen

How he would make sure that TV remote was in his hand

I tried to get it while he was sleeping… he woke up

I’d have to say he was one great dad

He made his mistakes and learned from them

He didn’t always say the nicest things but we understood

He wasn’t a perfect dad, but he was good for us three

Even if you’re no longer here physically

You still are here with us

You are in our memories

You are in our hearts

Very much missed and loved by

Wife Chris; children, Mitchel, Joshua, Catrina, his mom and grandchildren

DAWN R. KELLY

January 30, 1965 – December 4, 2012

Sad are the hearts that loved you,

Silent are the tears that fall.

Living our lives without you,

Is the hardest part of all.

You did so many things for us,

Your heart was kind and true.

And when we needed someone

We could always count on you.

The happy years will not return

When we were all together, but

With the love within our hearts

You’ll walk with us forever.

So, if we could have a lifetime wish

A dream that would come true,

We’d pray to God with all our hearts

For yesterday with you.

A thousand words can’t bring you back,

We know because we’ve tried,

And neither will a million tears,

We know because we’ve cried.

You left behind our broken hearts

And happy memories too,

We treasure all these memories,

But wish we still had you.

Loving you and missing you everyday,

Husband, Randy

Kids; Ryan and Nickie, Brandon and Venessa, Aaron and Blair, Adam and Chelsey

Grandkids; Chase, Kyler, Caden, Brinleigh, Cameron, and baby Kenzie Mae (coming spring 2014)
