Knapp-Rodriguez

Mr. David Knapp and Ms. Kimberly Magoon are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Stacey Jo Knapp to Michael James Rodriguez, son of Miguel and Sandra Rodriguez.  The future bride and groom are graduates of Cedar Springs High School and both are currently pursuing degrees at Grand Rapids Community College.  A July 2010 wedding is planned.

Warner Vasconcellos-Menzori

Bill and Gabrielle Warner, of Cedar Springs (previously of Toledo, OH) would like to announce the engagement of their daughter, Michele C. Warner, of Cedar Springs, to Mauricio Vasioncellos Menzori, of Araraquara, Brazil.  The bride is a 2002 graduate of Cedar Springs High School and a 2006 GVSU graduate. The groom is a 2009 graduate of Uniara and is the son of Mauro and Genizabeth Vasconcellos Menzori, of Araraquara, Brazil. The couple will wed on January 22, 2010 in Araraquara, Brazil. A “Welcoming the Newlyweds” party will be held in July 2010 when the couple returns to Michigan to visit. The couple will reside in Araraquara, Brazil.

Trolla – Wolfe

Katie Wolfe and Joseph Anton Trolla, have announced their engagement. The future bride is the daughter of Tim and Sue Wolfe, Cedar Springs. She is a 1998 graduate of Cedar Springs High School, and graduated from Oakland University in Rochester in 2003 with a bachelor’s degree in sociology with a concentration in criminal justice. She works for Oakland University as an assistant women’s basketball coach.
The groom-elect is the son of Butch and Sue Trolla, Ironwood. He is a 1997 graduate of Ironwood’s Luther L. Wright High School, and graduated from Ferris State University in Big Rapids in 2002 with a bachelor’s degree in education. He works for Rochester Community Schools as a design and technology teacher.
The wedding is planned for July 31, 2010 in Rockford.

Brittany Hansen & Tyler MacDonald

C-Eng-HansenMacDonaldSteve and Toni Hansen, of Cedar Springs, and Brian and Laurie MacDonald of Gowen, are happy to announce the engagement of their children, Brittany Marie Hansen and Tyler Dean MacDonald, both 2007 graduates of Cedar Springs High School. Brittany graduated Excel Academy of Cosmetology and is currently a stylist at Salon Bella Vista in Rockford. Tyler is employed at River City Mechanical and taking classes at GRCC in welding and pipe fitting. A spring wedding is being planned. The couple will make their home in Greenville.

Bride attended Crookston High School, History degree from College of St Benedict and a Master from University of Phoenix. Groom attended Cedar Springs HS, teaching degree from Aquinas Collge and finishing his master at Northern Arizona University. Bride’s parents are Cindy and Mark Altepeter of Euclid, MN, and the groom’s parents are Connie and Freeman Teer of Cedar Springs, MI. The wedding ceremony is scheduled for December 5th 2009 at St. Thomas Aquinas in Avondale, Arizona with a reception held at Pebble Creek Golf Course. The couple plans to reside in Avondale, AZ.

Wedding plans will be announced at a later date.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Cedar Springs High School, Grand Rapids Community College, and Grand Valley State University. Her parents are Sherry and Tom Carney of Grandville, and Don Snyder of Grand Rapids. The future groom is a graduate of Grandville High School. His parents are Dave and Lisa Schwandner of Grandville.
