theTable Meals at The Springs Church

Nov. 4,11,18: Meals are served every Thursday fom 5:30 to 6:30 pm at The Springs Church on the corner of Oak and Grant. All are welcome to theTable to enjoy this free meal that is being shared with us! #tfnb

Veteran’s Day Tribute

Nov. 6: Honoring all those who have served our country on Saturday, November 6th at 3 pm. The Tri County Jr. Eagles wish to honor those Veterans in our community by inviting everyone to join us in a special wreath ceremony. They will be placing a new wreath honoring all of those who have served our country so bravely and honorably. Special recognition will be given to those Veterans in attendance. This special tribute will be held at the Sand Lake Veteran’s Memorial next to the former VFW, Lake St., Sand Lake. #43,44

Annual Bazaar/Craft Show at Frost Creek Church

Nov. 12,13: Visit our 16th Annual Holiday Bazaar/Craft Show at Frost Creek Church. Get your Christmas shopping started or completed at this great 2-day holiday event! Shop Friday, November 12th  from 11am-7pm or Saturday, November 13th from 9am-3pm. Many new craft vendors to serve your shopping needs. A lunch counter is available. Every shopper will receive a free Christmas goodie courtesy of the Busy Mom’s Bakery and coffee and hot chocolate are free! The church is located at 15671 Algoma Avenue, just north of 19 Mile Road. Sand Lake Lions Club Variety Sale

Nov. 13: Sand Lake Lions Club Annual Variety Sale will be held on Saturday, November 13th from 9 am to 3 pm at the Ed Building of the Sand Lake United Methodist Church. #44,45

Rummage/ Bake Sale at Courtland Oakfield UMC

Nov. 13: Courtland Oakfield UMC will be having a Rummage and Bake Sale on Saturday, November 13th from 9 am to 5:30 pm. Fill a bag…give a donation. The Church is located at 10295 Myers Lake, Rockford.  #44

Pie Making at HCNC

Nov. 18: Howard Christensen Nature Center is hosting Holiday Pie Making on Thursday, November 18th at 7 pm. We provide the fresh ingredients, including handmade dough. You will have three different pies to take home and bake (or freeze for later). We suggest bringing a cooler or tote to transport your pies home. $25 for nonmembers and $20 for members. Fundraiser for Salisbury Park Basketball Court

Nov. 20: Fundraiser for newer and bigger basketball court for Sand Lake Salisbury Park. Saturday, November 20th from 9 am to 1 pm. Craft show/bake sale. 1 to 3 pm Porter Maberry-dunk champion of the United States. Taco Bar (by donation) and Silent Auction 3 to 7 pm. Hosted by the Sand Lake Chamber of Commerce #44-46
