Sparta Class of 1961 Reunion

July 3: The Sparta Class of 1961 will celebrate their 60th reunion with a potluck on Saturday, July 3rd at Rogers Park in Sparta. For more information email GMALLL@hotmail.com. #25,26

Ensley Crime Watch Race and Picnic

July 31: The annual Ensley Crime Watch Race and Community Picnic will be held on Saturday, July 31st at Baptist Lake Park. Early registration for the 5K Walk/Run BEFORE July 2nd is $20 includes T-shirt. For Youth (13 yrs and under) $15 includes T-Shirt. Registration July 2nd – July 31st is $25 (no T-shirt). For Youth $20 (no-T-shirt). Race begins at 9:00 am. Registration forms available at Ensley Township Hall or online www.ensleytownship.org/crime_watch. For more inforamtion call 616-636-8510. The Community Picnic begins at 11:30 am. There will be raffle prizes donated from local businesses and individuals. Lunch will be available for a small fee. Special guests include the Sand Lake Fire Department (trucks and equipment to view), the Newaygo County Sheriff’s Deputies (K-9 patrol on site) and the Newaygo Marine Patrol. All proceeds will be donated to the Sand Lake/Ensley Township Fire Department. #24,25p
