Delores “Dee” Rau age 84 of Cedar Springs, died Thursday, May 20, 2021 at The Brook of Cedar Springs. Dee was born July 14, 1936 in Providence, RI the daughter of Durwood and Laura (Trahan) Card. She was a very giving and caring person who loved by all of her family and friends. Many of us were fortunate to receive a stocking cap, mittens, cookies or one of her famous pies. She was very involved in her church, St. John Paul II in Cedar Springs. Surviving are her daughter, Kathleen (Rand) Kahrs; daughters-in-law, Christy Rau and Roxanne Rau; 8 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-granddaughter; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Steve; sons, Mark and Tom; grandson, Kristopher; great-granddaughter, Alaina. A memorial mass will be held Tuesday, June 1 at 5:30 p.m. at St. John Paul II, Cedar Springs. The family will greet friends starting at 4:00 p.m. at the Church. Rev. Fr. Lam Le celebrant. Interment Solon Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. John Paul II or North Kent Connect.
