Welcome Back

As CSPS prepares to kick-off the 2020-2021 school year, families will want to have access to information about their child’s learning and progress.

Cedar Springs is using 2 specific technology tools to help with streamlining communication and information.

Powerschool: Where parents of 6-12 students go for grades and attendance information. Parents of 6th graders will receive information about how to log in to Powerschool as a parent in the near future from Red Hawk.

Canvas: Where parents of K-12 students go for information about daily lessons, quizzes, tests, and for work when a student is absent. Where parents of K-5 students go for feedback about lesson progress.

Directions will be coming from each building and in the next Red Hawk Review about how to access and sign-up for both technologies. Families will have the ability to sign up for various notifications so that each family is able to get the information needed. Troubleshooting help for these and other technology needs will be available to families through our helpdesk by emailing: helpdesk@kentisd.org.
