Celebrate Recovery

Nov.14,21: City Impact, 288 N. Main St. will be holding meetings every Thursday to Celebrate Recovery, a Christ centered, 12 step recovery program for anyone struggling with hurt, habits or hangups of any kind. 6-6:30 pm – Meet & Greet, 6:30-8pm Celebrate Recovery. Tree of Hope for North Kent Connect

Nov. 14,20,21,25,26: There will be a Tree of Hope as part of North Kent Connect’s Holiday Drive located at H&R Block Cedar Springs. Please stop in the office, 14111 White Creek Ave., Nov. 14, 20, 21, 25, 26 and Dec. 4th from 10 am to 5 pm to select an item tag to purchase needed items for area families. Courtland Oakfield UMC Holiday Bazaar

Nov. 16: Courtland Oakfield United Methodist Church, 10295 Myers Lake Ave., Rockford (between 12 & 13 Mile Rd.), will hold its 19th Annual Holiday Bazaar on Saturday, November 16th from 9 am – 3 pm. Over 40 crafters, Grandma’s attic, bake sale, silent auction, cookies by the pound, lunch from 11 am to 2 pm. #45,46b

KDL Lab Experience: Cubelets, Robots in Disguise

Nov. 16: No heavy lifting required for these robots. Cubelets are robot blocks that connect together to create quirky little robots. Michigan Blood Drive

Nov. 19: Tuesday, November 19th at the Cedar Springs United Methodist Church located at 140 S. Main Cedar Springs. The drive is will go from 12:30 pm until 7 pm. Dinner at East Nelson Church

Nov. 20: Celebrate an early Thanksgiving at East Nelson Church, 9024 – 18 Mile Rd. NE on Wednesday, November 20th from 5 to 7 pm. The menu will be roast turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, stuffing, squash, green beans, corn, buns, a relish tray and GREAT homemade desserts! #46

Senior Lunch at Pine Grove Church  

Nov. 20: Turkey, turkey, turkey. Turkey here, turkey there it’s turkey everywhere. Dear Senior Café friends age 60 or more, come help us close out the 2019 season when we will serve….  Beef Roast and Mashed Taters and you never know when a Relish Plate may appear. We do however, reserve the right to stick a bit to tradition with Pumpkin Something for Desert. Senior Café 2019 Finale opens Wednesday November 20th at Noon in our Family Life Center on the North West corner of Beech & M-82. #46

2nd Chance Acoustic Jam

Nov. 21: 2nd Chance will be having an Acoustic Jam session hosted by the Gitchel’s on Thursday, November 21st from 6:30 to 9 pm. It will be at 2nd Chance School at 810 – 17 Mile Rd., Cedar Springs (corner of 17 Mile and Olin Lakes Road). Join us for an evening of playing or listening to awesome musicians and support 2nd Chance School. Jam sessions are tentatively planned every other week. Food and drinks will be available for purchase. $4 donation at the door – 15 and under are free. 3 jam room available and the stage. Proceeds go to 2nd Chance School. Pine Ridge Bible Camp Fundraiser

Nov. 23: Pine Ridge Bible Camp invites the public to their annual Silent and Live Auction Fundraiser on Saturday, November 23rd at the Cedar Springs High School Cafeteria, 204 E. Muskegon St. Registration begins at 5:30 pm followed by a large silent auction. The evening ends with a live auction. All adults welcome. Benefit for Ron Paige Sr.

Nov. 23: Please come and join us on November 23rd at the VFW in Sand Lake at 1 pm for a benefit to help offset unexpected living and medical costs for Ron and his wife while he fights a rare form of Sarcoma (bone cancer). Taco Bar, salad and dessert, bake sale and 50/50 raffle. Donation at the door. Ron has touched so many lives with his generosity so let’s help return that generosity to help suppliment the family.
