Dinner at East Nelson Church

Feb. 13: Come join us for a Swiss Steak dinner at East Nelson Church, 9024 – 18 Mile Rd., Cedar Springs on Wednesday, February 13th from 5 to 7 pm. Menu also includes mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans, rolls, relish tray and fabulous homemade desserts! Hope you can come! #6

Heart to Heart Craft Party @ KDL

Praise the Lord at Cowboy Church

Feb. 10: 2nd Chance will be having Cowboy Church on Sunday, February 10th at 6 pm. It will be at 2nd Chance School at 810 – 17 Mile Rd. Cedar Springs (corner of 17 Mile and Olin Lakes Rd). We will be blessed with the musical talents of Ron Lynnes and Pat Decker, who will share their message and music with us.  Invite your family and friends. Cowboy Church will be every 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month. Each service will have different people sharing God’s word and music. Cowboy Church will introduce you to 2nd Chance and its vision. The school is in the building stage, which when completed, will teach troubled teens through God and the horse. If you have questions, call 616-293-2150. See you there! #6b

Murder Mystery Masquerade Dinner

Feb. 14: Do you love a mystery? A masquerade? Good food?  If so, this is for you!  Gowen Bible Church is hosting a Murder Mystery Masquerade Dinner on February 14th from 6-10 pm at their Meddler Campus located at 16415 Meddler Ave, Sand Lake. Bring your Valentine or bring yourself to this elegant dinner with a twist. Tickets are $30 each with proceeds going to support the 2019 mission trip to Uganda. Lion’s Club Pancake Breakfast

Feb. 16: HCNC volunteers will be making breakfast – and some money by helping at the Cedar Springs Lion’s Club Breakfast in February. Breakfast includes eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes, hash browns, juice and coffee. Tell them HCNC sent you and we receive an extra donation. Saturday, February 16th. Served 7  – 11 am at Cedar Springs United Methodist Church. $8 all you can eat. The Lion’s Club hosts a breakfast the third Saturday of every month January – April. #6

Brothers Walker Concert @ Solon Center Wesleyan

Feb. 17: The twin duo of Coty and Clinton Walker will be in concert on Sunday, February 17th @ 6:30 PM at the Solon Center Wesleyan Church.  Brothers Walker sing contemporary Christian and country music. You might recognize them from having participted with Team Usher on NBC’s the Voice.  Brothers Walker write their own songs, have a love for God and entertaining.  No tickets are necessary.  The concert is by donation only.   The church is located at 15671 Algoma Ave., Cedar Springs, just N. of 19 Mile Road.  All Welcome! #6,7b

FREE Community Movie

Feb. 18,19: FREE Community Movie during Mid-Winter Break! All are invited to enjoy the En Gedi sponsored movie “A Case for Christ” at the Kent Theatre (Cedar Springs) on Monday, February 18th and Tuesday, February 19th starting at 7 pm. #6,7b

Hunting Heritage Banquet Dinner

Mar. 1: North Kent Longbeards Chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation is hosting their Hunting Heritage Banquet Dinner on March 1st. Doors open, games, raffles and activities start at 6 pm.
