On Monday, January 14, 2019, Randy Allen Bowman, loving husband, father, and friend, passed away suddenly at the age of 63. An avid outdoorsman, Randy enjoyed hunting, fishing, tinkering on his John Deere lawnmower and spoiling his two dachshunds. Randy was a jack of all trades, and always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need. He could fix your car, replumb your bathroom, and make a mean spaghetti sauce from scratch. It didn’t matter what you needed, Randy always had the name of somone who could help you with that on the tip of his tongue, and would start making a call before you knew what was happening. He is survived by his wife, Jayne Bowman; mother, Lila Bowman; children, Georgia (Joel) Taylor and John (Kristin) Taylor; brother, Ron Bowman; sister, Ronnie (Jon) Stout; six grandchildren, Lillian, Seraphime, Simon, Liam, Winry, and Arjen; niece, Beverly; nephews, Chad, Adam and Eric, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He is preceded in death by his father, Donald Bowman. A Memorial service will be held for Randy on Saturday, January 26th at 2 p.m., at the Solon Center Wesleyan Church, 15671 Algoma Avenue, Cedar Springs, Michigan 49319.
Lila, Jayne, We were so sorry to hear of Randy’s passing. Your Red Hat friends will keep you in our thoughts and prayers. May God grant you peace.
