Rogue River Cleanup

Sept. 15: Volunteers needed! Help local partners clean up the Rogue River and join us for an after party at Rockford Brewing. Saturday, September 15th from 8 am to noon. 7800 Childsdale Ave. NE, Rockford. Waders or water shoes required. #37

Michigan Blood Drive

Sept. 18: Michigan Blood will have a Blood Drive on Tuesday, September 18th at the United Methodist Church located at 140 S Main St. Cedar Springs, MI 49319. Red Flannel Day Talent Show

Sept. 19: Looking for talented kids of all ages. The Red Flannel Talent Show is searching for singers, vocal groups, dancers, instrumentalists and variety acts for the Red Flannel Day Talent Show on Saturday, October 6th. Meeting on Wednesday September 19th at 7:00 pm at the Kent Theatre, 8 N. Main St. Cedar Springs. Rehearsal will be held on October 3rd at 7 pm. Women’s Community Event

Sept. 21: The women’s ministries of Crossfire Ministries and Solon Center Wesleyan Church join forces to present Robyn Dykstra, National Christian Women’s speaker on Friday evening, September 21st @ 7 pm. Doors open @ 6:30 pm. Robyn is a captivating speaker and best-selling author and over the years has helped thousands of women on their Journey to trust God and follow Jesus. Surprisingly funny and refreshing, Robyn is a Humorous Speech Champion and hilarious storyteller. Along with Robyn, lite refreshments, awesome worship music and door prizes will be presented. Low Income Vaccine Clinic

Sept. 24: The Humane Society is hosting a Low Income Vaccine Clinic at North Kent Connect, 10075 Northland Drive, Rockford (near the corner of 12 Mile & Northland) on Monday, September 24th. Registration 2 – 4:30 pm. We reserve the right to limit entrance based on attendance. Low income status must be provided by one of the following: Bridge Card with annual letter of qualification (within 12 months), Medicaid or Medical Assistance card with letter of qualification, Social Security Disability or Retirement letter of qualification, Unemployment statement, 2 recent pay statements (within 30 days) less than 200% Federal Poverty Level. Vaccines for dogs and cats (rabies, distemper, flea prevention, etc.) will cost $10 each with a microchip for $20. Sept. 27,28: East Nelson United Methodist Church is hosting a 2nd Best Sale on Thursday, September  27th from 9 am to 7 pm and Friday, September 28th from 9 am to 4 pm. Scarecrow & Gourd Craft Day at HCNC

Sept. 29: Fall is here! Celebrate with us be making a scarecrow for the porch. Or paint a birdhouse gourd and enjoy your bird watching at home. Most everything you need to craft will be provided, including refreshments. Just bring an outfit and hat for your scarecrow. We look forward to seeing you! Senior All Night Party Events
