The Solon Center Wesleyan Church is pleased to announce the arrival of a new senior pastor, Rev. William Dixon.

Pastor Bill and his wife Molly come to SCWC from Indiana, where they pastored Davis Wesleyan Church in Hamlet, Indiana for the last 6 years. In addition to leading the church there, Pastor Bill also served as a board member of the Bella Vita Pregnancy Resource Center in Knox, Indiana.

Pastor Bill grew up in Sheridan, Michigan. His heart is for community pastoring and he is passionate about reaching the lost, teaching God’s word, making disciples, and developing leaders. He has also enjoyed being a part of many facets of ministry. He served as youth Pastor in New Carlisle, Indiana and served as the Discipleship/Pastoral Care pastor and assistant executive pastor at Central Montcalm Community (Wesleyan) Church in Sheridan. While living in Colorado from 2007-2010, he served for 3 years as a Leadership Team member on the Indian Action Team at Mission Hills Church, assisting missionaries and national leaders toward developing ministry initiatives to help marginalized and poverty-stricken communities in India. This endeavor included mission trips to India and he and his family also lived there for a time. He has served in Mexico on several short-term mission trips, as well.

Pastor Bill and his wife, Molly, have been married for 14 years, and have four children—William, Eden, Nate and Indyah.
