Praise the Lord at Cowboy Church

July 8: 2nd Chance will be having Cowboy Church on Sunday, July 8th at 6 pm. It will be at 2nd Chance School at 810 – 17 Mile Rd. Cedar Springs (corner of 17 Mile and Olin Lakes Rd). Music and ministry will be shared by the group, the Traditional Country and Gospel Singers who will share their message through their musical talents. Invite your family and friends. Cowboy Church will be every 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month. Each service will have different people sharing God’s word and music. Cowboy Church will introduce you to 2nd Chance and its vision. The school is in the building stage, which when completed, will teach troubled teens through God and the horse. If you have questions, call 616-293-2150. See you there! #27b

VBS at East Nelson UMC

July 11-15: Vacation Bible School at East Nelson Church,9024 – 18 Mile Rd, Cedar Springs. “Abundance Orchard”. Where faith grows and hungry people are fed. Wednesday, July 11, Thursday, July 12 and Friday July 13 from 6 – 8:30 pm. Saturday, July 14 from 9 am to 3 pm. There will be a luncheon on Saturday at 1 pm for everyone followed by games for all. The final VBS event will be our program during worship at 9:30 am on July 15. We hope your kids can come! #27

Model Airplane Show in Cedar

July 11: The Cedar Springs Public Library and the Wolverine Skyhawks Model Aviation Club invite you to come on out to their Landing Strip at 13540 West Street in town, for a fantastic airshow on Wednesday, July 11 from 6 pm to dark! Bring your whole family, your lawn chair or blanket and enjoy watching model airplanes of all shapes and sizes swoop and dance…it’s truly thrilling. Every school age student will get a raffle ticket for a chance to win a model airplane with lessons, $100 value. The Skyhawks are providing hotdogs, chips and a drink on a donation basis. Rockin’ with Pete the Cat @ KDL

July 11: We are super excited about our Pete the Cat Storytime. It’s going to be groovy! We’ll read Pete the Cat stories, enjoy making some Pete-inspired crafts and sing and dance to silly songs. Algoma Township Historical Society Annual Picnic

July 14: Saturday, July 14, 2018 – 12:00 Noon @ Chalmers Park on the corner of Pine Island Dr. and Fonger St. Picnic opens at 12:00 Noon / Eat promptly at 12:30 pm. Please bring a hot dish to pass, salad or dessert, and own table service. Coffee and punch will be provided.  The public is invited. #27

Dot Mandala Painting Workshop @ KDL

July 14: Pre-registration required. Create and take home a dot mandala painted rock or artist board. Learn how to paint in color tints and patterns. You will apply dots using special tools, and learn to layer paint dots for a 3D effect. For adults. The Fallen Heros Golf Outing

July 21: 9th Annual The Fallen Heros Golf Outing on Saturday, July 21 at 2 pm. $70 per person includes golf w/cart and steak dinner. Hole in one contest, 50/50 raffle and other contests and prizes.
