Praise the Lord at Cowboy Church

Apr. 8: 2nd Chance will be having Cowboy Church on Sunday, April 8th at 6 pm. It will be at 2nd Chance School at 810 – 17 Mile Rd. Cedar Springs (corner of 17 Mile and Olin Lakes Rd). Music and ministry will be shared by the group, the North Country Band, who will share their message through their musical talents. Invite your family and friends. Cowboy Church will be every 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month. Each service will have different people sharing God’s word and music. Cowboy Church will introduce you to 2nd Chance and its vision. The school is in the building stage, which when completed, will teach troubled teens through God and the horse. If you have questions, call 616-293-2150. See you there! #14b

TOPS weight loss support group

Apr. 10: Take off pounds sensibly (TOPS), a non-profit weight loss support group for men and women, meets every Tuesday at the Resurrection Lutheran Church in Sand Lake. Your first visit is free so come check out what TOPS can do to help you reach your weigh loss goals! Weigh-ins 8:15-9am, meeting starts at 9:15am. In case of inclement weather, meetings are cancelled if Tri-County or Cedar Springs schools are closed. Call Martha at 696-1039 for more information. #14

Flat River Com. Players Present “Wait Until Dark”

Apr. 13-21: Flat River Community Players present the drama “Wait Until Dark” at 7:30 pm on April 13, 14, 20 & 21, and at 2 pm on April 15, at the Greenville Area Community Center. Tickets are $13 adults and $11 students 18 and younger & senior citizens 60 and over. Reserve tickets with VISA or MasterCard at www.ShowClix.com, or by clicking the ShowClix link on the Player’s website www.frcp.org, or by calling 888-71-Tickets (8425387). Team Puzzle Contest

Apr. 14: There will be a Puzzle Contest on Saturday, April 14th at Cedar Springs Middle School, 2-3 pm, as part of the Cedar Springs Friends of the Library Quilt Show. Admission is $2 per person for the show. Bring your team of up to 4 people and try to be the first to put a 500 piece puzzle together. Proceeds of the quilt show go to the Cedar Springs Public Library. For more information, call Kaye @ 616-490-2493. #13,14p

Friends of the CS Library Quilt Show

Apr. 14: Cedar Springs Friends of the Library will hold its 6th annual quilt show on April 14 at the Cedar Springs Middle School from 10 am-4pm. Admission is $2 per person. Essential Oils 101

Apr. 18: Pre-registration is required. Learn how to use therapeutic essential oils for your health and well-being. Our Essential Oils 101 class will be led by Dr. Lindsey Westerhof, a pharmacist with experience using and teaching others about natural medicines and plant-based products for health, beauty, green cleaning and more. You will learn what essentials oils are, how to use them safely and effectively, and have the chance to try some of the oils and make a product to take home for free!
