Tim Bowers, 54, of Kent City, Michigan passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, February 21, 2017. He was the son of Jim & Sharon (Van Liew) Bowers of Cedar Springs where he graduated from High School in 1981. He was employed at Knape & Vogt for 17 years before earning his plumbers license at Van’s Plumbing & Heating Inc. Recently he was employed as a Kent City Community Schools’ bus driver and worked at The Rogue Golf Club. He attended Kent City Baptist Church and was involved in various activities including AWANA, softball, basketball, and golf league. Other hobbies included more sports, working outdoors, and deer hunting. Survivors include: wife Jill Evers-Bowers, his parents, brothers Jeff (Shawn) and Jay (Becky) Bowers, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Jack & Ardath Bowers and Stuart & Geraldine Van Liew. Services were held at Kent City Baptist Church Monday, February 27, 2017.
