The Red Hawk girls bowling team placed second at Wyoming’s invitational on Saturday, Dec 3.

The girls placed sixth in the initial round, and the top eight teams moved on. In the finals they play against Hudsonville and won, then moved on to play against Caledonia and won against them. It came down to Cedar Springs and Wayland in the final match.

The first game Cedar Springs won 143 to Wayland’s 141, and the second game they lost with a score of  131 to Wayland’s 160. Cedar Springs lost by a total of 27 pins.

“The girls did really well. I’m proud of them,” said Coach Dave Arbanas.
