Two Illinois men were injured last weekend after their plane crashed at the Greenville Municipal Airport.

According to the Michigan State Police Lakeview Post, a Piper Super Cub PA 18 was taking off from the Greenville Municipal Airport, on September 11 at approximately 3:50 p.m., when it crashed on the south side of the north/south runway. The plane was occupied by two males (ages 24 and 29) both from Illinois who sustained serious injury and were transported to Grand Rapids Butterworth Hospital, via both Aero Med and ambulance.
