November 21, 1 p.m.

The City of Cedar Springs will hold a ceremony on Saturday, November 21, at 1 p.m. in Morley Park, to dedicate the new picnic pavilion.

The pavilion was completed by high school student Kevin Galloway and his team, as his Eagle Scout project. Contributors, contractors, volunteers and the entire community is invited to attend this special ceremony.

Galloway had originally expressed an interest in replacing the former gazebo in the center of the park, but when it was deemed structurally unsafe and torn down, he focused on raising funds, materials and volunteers to build a new pavilion that will be enjoyed by the community for years to come.
