The Creative Technologies Academy Chargers boys cross country team took second in the Fremont Invitational on Sept. 24. Five runners medaled and placed in the top 15, including: junior Ethan Lehman; sophomores Les Miner, James Hofstra, Casen Armstrong; and seventh grader Tony Buchanan.

“For a meet that is known to be our most difficult course of the season to run, we ran it like we have been training on it,” commented Coach Danielle Davies. “I cannot begin to express how proud I am of all of our Chargers.”

Coach Davies encouraged the team to focus on position—rather than time—for the race and saw the team members push themselves to hold their running positions, which brought them out with a second place trophy for their hard work.
