Free Concert in Morley Park

July 16: Music starts at 7 pm and features the fun Caribbean style from Don Middlebrook. He will play from 7 to 9 pm with a break for door prizes at 8 pm. All individuals 18 and older will be eligible for a $50 gift card drawing at 9 pm from Independent Bank. The concert is put on by Cedar Springs Area Parks and Recreation and Display Pack. NFL: Pass Punt Kick Competition

July 25: Friends of Skinner Field presents: NFL Pass Punt Kick Competition on Saturday, July 25th from 10 am to 2 pm. Free for all Boys/Girls ages 6-15. Sign ups on Tuesday/ Thursday: July 16, 21 & 23 at Skinner Field Concessions from 6-8 pm and Saturday, July 25 from 9:30 – 10:30 pm. Find us on Facebook for more information, Info@Skinner Field. Roast Beef Dinner

July 19: The Rockford American Legion Post 102 on the corner of Northland Dr. and Rockford Park Dr. (330 Rockford Park Dr.), will be hosting a roast beef dinner on Sunday July 19 and every 3rd Sunday of each month. Open to the public. We will be serving roast beef, mashed potatoes, gravy, corn, green beans, coleslaw, rolls, dessert, coffee and punch. Reasonably price at $9 for adults, kids age 4 to 12 for $7 and under 4 years are free. Serving from 11am to 3 pm. See ya there and bring the family! #28p

Dinner at the Legion

July 20: American Legion Post 287, 80 S. Main St. Cedar Springs, is hosting a meat loaf dinner on Monday, July 20th, from 5 – 7 pm. Included will be mashed potatoes, baked beans, salad, rolls, veggies, drink and desserts. The cost is $9 for adults, children (15 and younger) $4.00. Come and enjoy home cooking. Blood Drive

July 21: Did you know? Summer is a high-need time for blood. Please help us keep the blood supply up! Be somebody that saves lives. And, one of the ladies from the Cedar Springs Women’s Club will grill a hot dog for you. Cedar Springs United Methodist Church. Tuesday, July 21st from 12:30 to 7 pm. #28

Jibber Jams

July 21: This engaging and interactive performance features imaginative original songs, audience inspired improvisation and the universal language of jibberish! For families. Tuesday, July 21st at 10:30 am, at the Nelson Township/ Sand Lake KDL Branch, 88 Eighth St. #28

VBS at East Nelson UMC

July 22-25: East Nelson United Methodist Church, 9024 – 18 Mile Rd., NE, Cedar Springs will be having Vacation Bible School on July 22 – July 25th. “Savannah Safari” will be a fun adventure for all kids age 4 – 12. Call 616-696-0661 to get a registration form or come on Wednesday, July 22 at 6 pm to register and start the adventure! There will be a potluck on Saturday at 1 pm to wrap up the program. #25

Joel Stone Memorial Golf Outing

July 26: The Joel Stone Memorial Golf Outing will be held on Sunday July 26th at Cedar Chase Golf Club, 7551 – 17 Mile Rd. It is a 4 man scramble with a 2 pm shotgun start.
