AA Meetings at Rebos House 

Rebos House, 10 N. First St., Cedar Springs is open on Sunday, 9 am, 2 pm and 7 pm. Monday, noon, 7 pm Big Book, 8:15pm, Tuesday, noon, 5:30 women’s, 7 pm men’s & women’s. Wednesday, noon, 7 pm 12X12, 8:15 pm. Thursday, noon, 7 pm, Alanon 7 pm. Friday, noon, 7 pm and Saturday, 8:30 am, 10 am, 2 pm and 7 pm. #1

TOPS weight loss support group

Jan. 13: Take off pounds sensibly (TOPS), a non-profit weight loss support group for men and women, meets every Tuesday at the Resurrection Lutheran Church in Sand Lake. Your first visit is free so come check out what TOPS can do to help you reach your weigh loss goals! Weigh-ins 8:15-9am, meeting starts at 9:15am. In case of inclement weather, meetings are cancelled if Tri-County or Cedar Springs schools are closed. Call Barb at 696-8049 for more information. #1

Cedar Springs Music Boosters Fundraiser

Jan. 17: FireKeepers Casino bus trip is scheduled for Saturday, January 17th. The bus leave Cedar Springs High School at 12:30 pm and returns about 9 pm. The cost is $40 which includes the round trip, $20 in play and $5 in food credit. Fun on the Bus includes 50/50 drawings, raffles and games! Adults only, must be at least 21 years old. Only 56 seats available and coolers will be permitted. For tickets or questions call or email Angela Swinehart 253-985-7135 or swinehart1031@msn.com. All proceeds are used to support the Cedar Springs Bands. #1p

Free Movie at Cedar Springs UMC

Jan. 17: Join us for a free movie! Saturday, January 17th at 3 and 7 pm and Sunday, January 18th at 3 pm the Cedar Springs United Methodist Church will be showing “When the Game Stands Tall”. Inspired by the extraordinary true story of high-school football coach Bob Ladouceur and his De La Salle Spartans. Rated PG. Free popcorn and drinks. #1,2p
