October was a fun filled month for CTA Elementary; we experienced our first Spirit Week of the year.  Wow, the CTA Yearbook staff put together a fantastic week! Monday, the Crazy Hair theme was a hit. Tuesday’s PJ Day is always a crowd pleaser! Wednesday, who doesn’t enjoy a Beach Day in the middle of the week? Thursday was Inside-Out day; on Thursdays, we all feel a little inside-out.  Then to top it off, Charger Day on Friday, which led into a staff vs. students flag football game. The Staff came away with a victory, but the scores were close.

Also, we had our annual Halloween Parade on Friday, October 31! Superheroes, Elsas, and animals came out in spades.  Yes, it was snowy, but it is still fun! Everyone enjoyed showing off their costumes to the whole school. Pictured here (right) is second grade enjoying the festivities; Mrs. Krombeen and Olaf (Zachary Smith) were right with the weather forecast. The picture on the left is of the entire second grade class showing their Charger spirit on Halloween.
