The West Michigan Pursuit team brought 22 grapplers to compete this past weekend. Pursuit entered 20 grapplers to battle at Fruitport and two battled at Alma. Fruitport offered Novice and Open Divisions and the Alma tournament is an Open Tournament that appealed to the more seasoned wrestlers with trophy awards being offered. The team battled 71 times with 35 ending in victory and 18 grapplers placing in the top 4.

“I am very impressed with the performance consistency of these kids and how hard they work to continuously improve,” said Owner and Head Coach Dave Andrus.
