ORIGINAL STORY:

Police are searching for a Solon Township man who has been missing for over a week.

According to the Kent County Sheriff Department, it was reported on Sunday, February 9, that Edward Wilson, 59, of Solon Township has been missing since Sunday, February 2. Police believe he left voluntarily, but he has not been heard from or seen since.

He is believed to be in his faded red 1979 Chevrolet pickup truck. The truck has an amber light on the cab, and a rusted maroon plow on the front. He does have medical conditions, and may not have his medication with him. He also may have his dog with him—a beagle named Tyler.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts or the whereabouts of his truck is asked to call the Kent County Sheriff’s department at (616) 632-6140 or silent observer at (616) 774-2345.

The Sheriff’s department continues to investigate his disappearance.
