Spencer Township Senior Christmas Potluck

Dec. 7: There will be a Senior Christmas Potluck Dinner at Spencer Township, 14960 Meddler, Gowen, on December 7 from 1 to 3 pm. Bring a dish to pass. Meat, potatoes, rolls and coffee provided. #48,49p

 

Annual Cookie Walk at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church

Dec. 7:  The St. Peter’s Lutheran Ladies Guild is having their annual cookie walk on Saturday, December 7th from 9 am until all the cookies are gone! 310 E. Division, Rockford. #49

 

A Christmas Night of Worship

Dec. 8: Solon Center Wesleyan Church presents: A Christmas  Night of Worship.. coffee, candies, carols, and praise. The Sunday evening, December 8th at  6 pm. Delicious desserts and great coffee will be served during the concert. Come join us for a great night of celebrating Christmas. The church is located on Algoma Avenue, just north of 19 Mile Road. Holiday Make & Take at HCNC

Dec. 8: You will not want you kids to miss this one! We will help your child create a gift from their heart that can be cherished and passed down to their children for generations. They will make unique gifts and wrap them up with the assistance of our volunteer team. Voila! Your children’s holiday shopping is done. This event is most appropriate for K-5th graders. A cherished gift from your child’s heart, what could be better. Sunday December 8 from 9 am to 11 am. Donation of $6 per child. Lion’s Tigers and Mostly Bears at HCNC

Dec. 10: Have your child bring their favorite stuffed teddy bear to this fun day! Where are all the bears? We will examine HCNC bears; does he sleep in a bed? Does he sleep with Mama Bear? Where does he go when it snows? Ages 3 – 6 years old. Tuesday December 10 from 10:30 to 12 noon. Donation of $4 per child. TOPS weight loss support group

Dec. 10: Take off pounds sensibly (TOPS), a non-profit weight loss support group for men and women, meets every Tuesday at the Resurrection Lutheran Church in Sand Lake. Your first visit is free so come check out what TOPS can do to help you reach your weigh loss goals! Weigh-ins 8:15-9am, meeting starts at 9:15am. In case of inclement weather, meetings are cancelled if Tri-County or Cedar Springs schools are closed. Call Martha at 696-1039 for more information. #49
