“The Scarlet Letter” performed at Library

ENT-Scarlet-LetterActors del Arte Ensemble, led by Director Patricia Rose, presented their Readers Theatre Production of The Scarlet Letter by Nathaniel Hawthorne to an appreciative audience at the Cedar Springs Public Library, Thursday evening, October 17.

A group of seven talented actors, perfectly suited to their individual roles, did an outstanding recreation of the timeless story of love and tragedy. The audience was delighted that the group exercised poetic license and rewrote the tragic ending with a happy outcome.

“This group has performed several of the classics for us over the years,” said Library Director Donna Clark. “I have to say that their rendition of The Scarlett Letter was my all-time favorite. Truly an enjoyable evening!”
