Cedar Springs Police and Fire and the Kent County Sheriff Department responded to an accident on 18 Mile Rd, in the curve just east off Main, Saturday evening.

Sgt. Ben Cammenga, of the Kent County Sheriff Department, said that a Jeep driven by Nanise Hadley, 17, of Howard City, was driving too fast and not able to maneuver the curve. Her car left the roadway and rolled onto its top. The driver, who was seatbelted, was transported to the hospital for observation, and suffered only minor injuries.
