Muriel A. Hughes (Orrin), Age 90, born November 12, 1922  passed away early Wednesday, October 9, 2013 with dignity and peace surrounded by family.

She was the loving wife of Robert L. Hughes who is deceased and the mother of Mark (Sue) Hughes and David (Jean) Hughes and a long time resident of Cedar Springs. She was a member of the Huggard Bible Church. Muriel was known by some for her poetry and published under the name “The Cricket”. A memorial service will be held in the community room at Richter Place Apartments, 9101 Courtland Drive, Rockford on Friday, October 11 from 3 to 5 pm. It is suggested that donations in lieu of flowers may be made to Spectrum Health Hospice, 4500 Breton Rd. SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49508.
