Our daughter, Darlene Walls, graduated from CSHS in 1970. She was diagnosed on June 19th with a rare cartilage cancer in the left side of her mouth. She was operated on July 17th at the University of Indianapolis for the removal of the upper jaw, teeth, palate, upper throat and inside of the nose. She had another cancer removal on July 3rd. After recovery, she will have Proton Therapy for 8 weeks. Down the road reconstructive surgeries will take place. She has a long road ahead of her. She speech is limited at this time.
