Brandon Clay Bates, 20, of Cedar Springs, was arrested Wednesday, June 27 and arraigned in 63rd District Court on a charge of criminal sexual conduct, 3rd degree.
His bond was set at $20,000 and a preliminary exam set for July 10 at 2:30 p.m.
CSC 3rd is a criminal sexual conduct violation involving a victim between the ages of 13 and 15. Because the case involves a minor, no other details are being released.
