Police investigate theft of car batteries

hcpdThe Howard City Police are investigating the theft of 20 car batteries in M46 and Maple Hill Road area June 7-8.

Police said that suspects used a tool to cut the battery cables from parked vehicles and equipment and then removed the batteries.

Police asked that if someone you know suddenly has a large quantity of batteries or if you notice they are being sold for scrap, please contact the Howard City Police Department at 231-937-4311.
