Police seek robbery suspect

 

N-Police-Seek-robbery-suspeN-Police-Seek-robbery-sus2Montcalm County Sheriffs Deputies are looking for the man who robbed the Chemical Bank in Edmore on Saturday, March 30.

According to police, the robbery occurred about 10:40 a.m. in downtown Edmore (about 40 miles northeast of Cedar Springs). A lone man reportedly entered the bank and presented a note to one of the tellers demanding money. The robber implied he had a weapon, but no weapon was seen. The man left the bank, on foot, with an undisclosed amount of money.

The man is described as a white male in his late 30s or early 40s, about 5’6” to 5’8”, 160-175 pounds, with short dark hair and gray goatee. He was wearing a dark zippered jacket, dark crew neck t-shirt and dark pants, and dark sunglasses.
