Brian Crooks, 21, and Raymond Cosens, age 29, both of Howard City, were arrested early Saturday morning, January 12, at about 12:30 a.m., after the Howard City Police Department responded to a report of prowlers acting suspicious next to a parked car.
According to Police Chief Steve DeWitt, the incident was called in by an alert neighbor. Both suspects were found highly intoxicated near the scene of Ensley and Chestnut St. The Investigating officer found that Crooks had two bench warrants for his arrest, one of which was for a probation violation. Cosens also had two bench warrants for his arrest. Both subjects were lodged at the Montcalm County jail.
