State Representative 73rd District: Peter MacGregor (R) 32,461 over G. Scott Schuiling (D) 16,488

State Representative 74th District: Rob Verheulen (R) 27,397 over Richard Erdman (D) 14,341

Sheriff: Lawrence Stelma (R) 145,026 over James Farris (D) 100793

Clerk: Mary Hollinrake (R) 157,101 over Richard Carillo (D) 102035

Treasurer: Kenneth Parrish (R) 154,642 over Teresa Walker (D) 113,211

State Ballot Proposals

All state ballot proposals were defeated. Proposals 2-5 would’ve amended the state constitution. Proposal 1 was a referendum on Public Act 4 of 2011.

1 – uphold emergency manager law defeated 52% to 48%

2 – collective bargaining rights defeated 58% to 42%

3 – 25 by 25 renewable energy defeated 63% to 37%

4 – Home health care worker changes defeated 57% to 43%

5 – Limit the enactment of new taxes defeated 69% to 31%

6 – Voter approval on international bridges defeated 60% to 40%
