Crystal Timmer

UPDATE: Monday, Oct. 15:  A missing Solon Township woman has been found safe in North Dakota.

According to the Kent County Sheriff Department, investigators located Crystal Timmer, 27, in North Dakota with her ex-husband. With the assistance of North Dakota authorities, they confirmed that Timmer, who was last seen September 28, was safe and had left on her own accord. They requested she contact her family and notify them of what her future intentions are.

On September 28, Timmer left her children two children with her roommate, borrowed her friend’s car, and never returned.

The Kent County Sheriff Department is asking for the public’s assistance to help find Crystal Timmer, a 27-year-old woman from Solon Township.

According to police, the woman has not been seen since Friday, September 28, and they are concerned about her well-being. She was last seen leaving her home, in the 17000 block of Algoma Avenue, NE. She left her two children with her roommate, and borrowed her car, a silver 2005 Pontiac Grand Prix, Michigan Registration BCG2998. She reportedly texted her friend on October 1, but has not been heard from since.

Lt. Ron Gates said that they have information that makes them concerned for her safety. “If she is monitoring this, or if someone knows where she is, we just need her to verify that she is safe,” he said.

If you have any information on where Crystal is, please contact the Kent County Sheriff Department at (616) 632-6125, or Silent Observer at (616) 774-2345.

The woman “borrowed” her friends car, and left her kids with someone and left with no explaination or consideration, gone for 2 weeks, everyone looking for her and all the police do when they find her is tell her to call home?!?!?!?
She should be arrested for auto theft accross the state line, and child abuse & abandonment! (at the very least)

That’s just a little bit selfish. First and foremost how do you walk away from your children and leave the state without telling anyone where you are? Number two, it’s not one’s roommates responsibility to take of someone’s children because they decided to walk away from them, third, she took off with a car that did not belong to her, and disappeared without telling anyone where she was going.
That’s a little bit like sucking ice cream up your left nostril and hoping not to get brain freeze.
