CS Soccer in second place in Bronze

Over the past two weeks, the Cedar Springs Boys Varsity soccer team has bolstered their over all record to 10-2-1 and have positioned themselves in second place, behind Forest Hills Eastern, in the OK Bronze Conference. Highlights from the last two weeks are as follows:

Monday, September 17 at Sparta: The match was concluded early, when lightening was spotted in the evening sky, resulting in a tie 2-2. Scoring by Robert Klein (39:52) (13:35)

Tuesday, September 18 at Greenville (OK Bronze Conference play): Cedar Springs victorious 7-3. Scoring by Luke Dault (30:23), Memo Garcia (29:45), Robert Klein (16:35) & (10:29), Aaron Dault (1:53) & (13:22), Kyle Szirovecz (21:25).

Thursday, September 20 vs Northview at Red Hawk Stadium (OK Bronze Conference play): Cedar Springs crushed the Wildcats 5-1. Scoring by Robert Klein (36:24) & (29:02), Johnny Wood (10:20), and Kyle Szirovecz (25:52) & (9:33).

Tuesday, September 25 at Forest Hills Northern. Cedar Springs trampled the Huskies 3-0. Scoring by Kyle Szirovecz (32:03) & (36:09) and Julion Quiroga (20:03).

Thursday, September 27 vs Forest Hills Eastern at Red Hawk Stadium (OK Bronze Conference play): The Red Hawks fell to Forest Hills Eastern 0-2.

The Boys Varsity team would like to thank all AYSO/CASSA players, coaches and families who attended the annual AYSO/CASSA Night on September 27! The team appreciates the support and encouragement of the Cedar Springs community.
